it doesnt say but why are monograms on the left side
jrr tolkien's famous monogram is on his wikipedia article, and shoudl be added here; probably one of the most well-known monograms.
According to the information about monograms, the New York Yankees' team symbol, as well as those of other sports' teams, would be considered monograms. I believe that adding this to the article would be an interesting and informative addition :) Twitterpated. ( talk) 00:11, 6 January 2008 (UTC)
