@ Lithopsian: I apologize if I offended you, but I believed that this would be an uncontroversial change. During the Apollo-era, they were Mobile Launchers. During the Shuttle-era, they were Mobile Launch Platforms.
I have documented several examples of NASA referring to these three structures during and after the Shuttle-era as "Mobile Launch Platforms" below:
Here are some examples of third-party organizations calling them by that name:
The ngrams data also clearly shows that "Mobile Launch Platform" is in wider use than "Mobile Launcher Platform."
Given these facts, I believe a move to "Mobile Launch Platform" is the correct action to take, as it's more in-line with Wikipedia's name policy. - Jadebenn ( talk)
