This seems like blatant advertising due to the number of "demo ads" on the site with no real content. Also the poster claims the site is Web 2.0, which it seems also not to be. Sounds like market speak. Opinions?

Highly implies that Craigslist invented the concept
Missed connections ads have been around much longer than Craiglist. The concept is not original to that site. This kind of as has been published for decades in local newspapers. — Preceding
