Seems to me that when most people say or see Minicom, it's a reference to the device for deaf users. For example, a just got a letter from a medical department with a minicom number at the bottom, and Microsoft Outlook still includes Minicom as one of its contact fields, afaik. I like the unix Minicom and all, but compared to the widespread usage of other meanings, I think this is much too obscure to use as the main article for the name. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 93.97.246.209 ( talk) 11:26, 30 June 2010 (UTC)
shouldn't minicom be in "Category:Terminal_emulators", if it is called a terminal emulator in the description? 94.134.193.231 ( talk)
Minicom's documentation consistently refers to it as "minicom". The leading cap is a Wikipedia-ism TEDickey ( talk) 20:42, 28 December 2013 (UTC)
