I've just assessed this article for the WikiProject of Military History. I gave it a B-class, but I strongly suggest to anyone who has enough time for it to call for a GA review. Lord Ics ( talk) 16:23, 20 March 2017 (UTC)
Rm ref details where the source wasn't cited as they had red on, changed headers to rm repetition, separated short and long quotes. Tidied prose. Keith-264 ( talk) 08:03, 11 September 2015 (UTC)
Tinkered with the headers, rv if preferred and moved the 1916 map lower to the 1916 section. Are there perhaps too many maps and diagrams now? Keith-264 ( talk) 07:29, 15 September 2016 (UTC)

I took the liberty of rewriting the lede so that the information is better organised and hope that nothing has been botched in the process. WikiwiLimeli ( talk) 05:48, 11 October 2022 (UTC)
