Failed "good article" nomination
This article has failed its Good article nomination. This is how the article, as of November 26, 2022, compares against the six good article criteria:
- 1. Well written?: Choppy sentences and paragraphs, and awkward phrasing all around. Overuse of "261" as the sole identifier instead of "Engine 261" or something more standard.
- 2. Verifiable?: Most of the article is unsourced. A few of the citations (such as TrainChasers.com, Steam Giants, Railroad Nation) that are used are not from reliable sources.
- 3. Broad in coverage?: Fails point (b), as there is far too much detail here.
- 4. Neutral point of view?: Did not check.
- 5. Stable?:
Pass - 6. Images?: Paring down to the better quality images would improve the article.
Clearly not ready for GA, and from a non-contributing nominator.
