Do you have any specific image in mind? A
fair-use image is a doctrine under which one uses a copyright image without permission. On wikipedia once uploaded it is an image that complies with all 10
non-free content criteria and also has a fully completed
fair-use rationale attached justifying its use. Because the subject of this article is dead it may be possible to make a reasonable justification for a fair-use image. You may want to read my

You might compare it with the article on
Elizabeth Thompson, another Irish artist, which contains a number of images (I'm not saying they were correctly uploaded though!). BTW, this article is no longer a stub.
