This fails to mention his political affiliation (Democrat). And why is Mike Huckabee not listed as an Arkansas politician?-- BlueGlowGuardian 21:27, 31 August 2005 (UTC)
Party affiliation added. -- Jfulkerson 20:08, 25 September 2005 (UTC)Jfulkerson
Sorry, I thought it was pretty obvious that the text about Beebe being "plagued by accusations" didn't belong in this article and couldn't think of anything constructive to put in my edit summary, so I left it blank. That was a mistake on my part, sorry about that.
The text asserts that Beebe has been "plagued" by these accusations and that the accusation has been made by "numerous news outlets", but I couldn't find a single news article that made such an accusation. The person who inserted this text doesn't provide a link to any actual articles, he just links to the main page of some blogs.
All I found was a single article that mentioned that the state GOP was trying to attack Beebe's connection to Entergy. One article does not make a plague and I don't think this wiki article is a place for minor partisan attacks. If sources are provided and the wording is changed, it might be ok, but as is, there is no way it should be in there. Maximusveritas 21:41, 18 November 2005 (UTC)
I wanted to bring to your attention that 71.29.94.33 has added links that do not seem to pertain to this article. I do not live in Arkansas, so I do not know how related they are to the subject. Related to this, 71.29.94.33 has been modifying things related to Asa Hutchinson, such as changing Asa Hutchinson to Asa Hutchinson, this page is one of the many that were changed by 71.29.94.33. -- QubitOtaku 01:29, 6 December 2005 (UTC)
Is he from Searcy, as the caption suggests, or Amagon?
Shouldn't Mike Beebe be the 47th Governor?? Why isn't Bob C. Riley & Joe Purcell included as Arkansas Governors? GoodDay ( talk) 20:34, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
I've added basic information about the governor's global warming commission's decision regarding coal electric plants. I *think* it is even handed, but feel free to tweak it. I did not mention that they did recommend nuclear or that glenn hooks and sierra club oppose nuclear as well as coal. If someone thinks this is noteworthy, be all means, add it. Would like to see the word "marijuana" in the pardoning of the son for a felony. Considering the quasi-state of marijuana laws throughout the United States, to simply put "felony" is not adequate. I don't want to change articles because of a personal lack of experience, but this only seems right. 74.195.172.218 ( talk) 20:51, 13 November 2014 (UTC)
