I would like to add two notes:
(unindent)His ancestor's article says that he was of Greek origin and this one has a source about a Slavic origin i.e one of the two sources/claims should be removed and replaced by the other.-- — ZjarriRrethues — talk 12:13, 24 June 2011 (UTC)
I moved the title to Bey as it is the English translation of Beg and also used by more sources.-- — ZjarriRrethues — talk 10:17, 24 June 2011 (UTC)

Something fishy in this article. According to it, this Ali Bey never won a battle, constantly being beat up by various Balkan princes. Its highly unlikely that such a weak commander would stay in command for so long during the expansion period of the Ottoman Empire. Either your sources are incomplete/wrong, or you are omitting some important facts for whatever reason — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.73.191.176 ( talk) 22:35, 25 February 2012 (UTC)
