Whether it gets merged or not, if we're adding info on his Archie personality, it needs info on his STC personality, too. Hence, I've added that. -- L T Dangerous 02:10, 7 November 2005 (UTC)
As a character that doesn't have separate articles for different incarnations, all relationships pertaining to this character have a place in this article. Denjo
Put it under Mighty the Armadillo in Chaotix. I'll probably add things on Mighty-the-game.
I think it should be fused, mighty shouldn't be discriminated from other choatix members for no reason. You,re Right it shoud be fused with the Chaotix article and Chaotix should go to the Hero section like Mighty
OK 3 merge supportes against 1 stay the same supporters We win
I see 4 against merging (Steerspike, JanusZeal, Jenny Tablina, Ip address 71.xx) and possibly 3 (all unassigned) users for merging it. Add in me and it's 5 to 3 for keeping it here. --208.27.127.30, April 18th, 2007.
People like you are the reason I can never find what I'm looking for on Wikipedia and have to go elsewhere. Way to ruin the system.
I would suggest against merging it. Mighty existed before Chaotix and is associated to the Sonic Universe by those other means. Instead, the info from Chaotix should be displayed here, with a link to this article from Chaotix. -- JanusZeal
Should Mighty really be added into the Chaotix article considering he doesnt seem to be considered part of the team by Sega anymore? It might confuse users who are only aware of the recent Chaotix as seen in Heroes, Shadow and Sonic X. -- Jenny Tablina 13:09 January 26 2006
How is Mighty an anit-hero? The chart describes him as that...
It used to have neutral in it. 71.104.185.157 18:39, 24 March 2006 (UTC)
References and notes needed around things, such as, "Contrary to popular belief," "found in several hacks," etc. And perhaps some more external links. I added some! -- 71.104.185.157 18:39, 24 March 2006 (UTC)
Mighty is intresting who wrote that he wasn,t in the article yesterday it said that he was hard to modify and replaced with vector that,s why i planed a Heroes 2 lot of people stole my idea about it i devolped it june 2004 so don,t steal it i made a return of Mighty with Team Underground.Speed is Manic from Sonic Under ground. Power is Mighty. and Flight is E-102 Gamma from Sonic Adventure(with his Jet Booster).
What's this guy talking about? Axe995 22:53, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
I have no idea. Roxyr 22:31, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
Shouldn't we have a game picture of mighty as he is officially described (either in segasonic or knuckles chaotix).
You should put ray the squirl on mighty.
Should it be mentioned that Mighty appeared in the character poll on the Sonic Channel Website? Grandmastergalvatron 23:38, 6 June 2006 (UTC)
Also, where does it list Mighty's age as being 16? —Preceding unsigned comment added by {} (talk • contribs)
The new picture on the Mighty page - is it fanart or official? That's all I'd like to know. Libertyernie2 01:49, 14 June 2006 (UTC)
It's official art from what I could make out. If a Portuguese speaker could check out this site- http://sonictotal.vilabol.uol.com.br/index.htm and verify it as official or non-official for me, I'd be eternally grateful. -- Danish Ranger
Please. Please. PLEASE. Let's get rid of the "Mighty no longer appears in games is because his creator left SEGA and took the rights to use the character with him[2];" statement. Why?
I'm sorry to get so detailed, but this is one of my biggest pet peeves of the fandom. - ScarredSun 19:04, 4 July 2006 (UTC)
Shouldn't there be a bit stating what may be obvious, that Mighty could have been "removed" so the Chaotix could fit into the three person party arrangement of Sonic Heroes? It always seemed obvious that was what happened as soon as he disappeared. Philtrauferson 00:29, 21 October 2006
I agree.

Someone needs to add that it's obvious he was removed because:
SEGA and Sonic Team only needed three characters, Fly, Speed, and Power. They were probably lost for characters, so they used the old chaotix characters. The team had four charcaters however, so they had to 'fire' an unimportant/unecessary character. They had the roles they needed from Charmy, Vector, and Espio. Mighty was removed.
I'm not doing it, it'll turn out wrong, and won't fit in there.

They should used him for Power, not Vector! Sega are idiots, his name's ficken Mighty. Claycrow 18:38, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
It has been comfirmed in issue #211 of Nintendo Power that an Armadillo was suggested as a main character, so Mighty the Armadillo is indeed a prototype for Sonic. Mariofan 21:08, 3 January 2007 (UTC)
Hey, I've just figured out how to "discuss". Anyway, everyday, I check out the Sonic characters' pages, and everytime I'm on Mighty's, I always wonder how you guys know his age. I thought that hardly anything was known about him. 71.209.183.185 23:58, 8 January 2007 (UTC)anon
The comics are NOT official. Maybe someone could make one big article for the non-official comic stuff.
Here's a new place to discuss the proposed merge to Chaotix, since there doesn't seem to be a clear consensus in either direction anywhere else. I personally think it should be merged, but the current article should be kept intact until a consensus has been reached. -- Libertyernie2 19:46, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
Mighty is one of the oldest characters in the entire franchise, being the prototype for Sonic the Hedgehog. Even if you go by his first actual appearance he still appears before even Knuckles the Echidna. He's been playable in two complete games (neither of them being any sort of racing game or party game) in addition to making a cameo in another and having a role in both the major Sonic comics (and the Knuckles spin-off and various miniseries). I am personally of the opinion that any playable Sonic character that has appeared in multiple games with at least one of them being a platformer (so that doesn't include people like Ray, Lumina, Tails Doll, etc.) should have their own profile page. However, that is far more debateable and I don't want to get into all that. Mighty however definately has enough points of interests to maintain his own page. Especially when one factors in that he has recently been gaining popularity due to his ommission (ie. getting a surge of popularity which caused several false rumors about cut material when Sonic Heroes came out). There's also the misconceptions about his character (such as him having super strength, because of the comics) which his page used to clarify.
Additionally, my major beef here aside from the redirect based on a discussion located entirely elsewhere is that there has been no effort to expand Mighty's tiny section on the new page by those who wish to redirect him, so much of the information goes away. Plus the fact that he really would probably belong on the Other Characters page instead of the Chaotix page as outside of the comics he seems to not be affiliated with the team any longer. Furthermore, I just don't see the point in needlessly cramming a page with a tiny bit of information about a lot of characters, when the characters could support their own (fleshed out) page and not crowd the other one. I mean, you don't see people trying to redirect Bloodwynd, Rocket Red, and Ice all under a "Justice League" page just because they don't have tons and tons of information.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.27.127.30 ( talk • contribs)
Since he's made appearances when the Chaotix have been absent, I'd agree with moving him to the Others page. -- Danish Ranger 17:54, 5 May 2007 (UTC)
