As far as I can tell there are several full articles about Microsoft's mobile services, maybe this article isn't what it needs to be, maybe it should become some sort of list with links to them, now it has half-duplicate material, and half outdated collections, I think that it would be better if we'd include more links to Microsoft's other mobile services through re-organizing this article into a list like what happens when you type in "Google Mobile" for example. IN Microsoft Mobile's services section the reference to the Lumia imaging apps is introductory, the sub-section exists to give more details. -- Lumia930uploader ( talk) 09:41, 29 June 2015 (UTC)
Two question..
Should we arrange this list alphabetically.
Should other services broken down into sub sections based on... any idea???

Several users have removed content, the first one claiming a criteria but quotes no actual wiki policy and the second one simply stating it as "irrelevant" despite coming from the same section of the page where the rest of the more recent content was moved from, before removing it again I suggest for these editors to go to the talk page before removing entire sections again, as far as I can see it's relevant to include discontinued services as this has always been the case on Wikipedia, and as per WP:NOTABILITY if it was once notable, it'll always be notable, and nowhere does it say that this is exclusively a list of current Microsoft Mobile Services. -- 42.113.73.231 ( talk) 00:39, 3 July 2015 (UTC)
The present line out includes product divisions, though some parts may be outdated (e.g. Windows Live, Skype Wi-Fi which is set to be renamed Microsoft Wi-Fi), the former Nokia services share the fact that they were made by what used to be Nokia's devices and services employees, video games contains this differentiation to exclude Microsoft Studios' games. Anyhow I just want to show my objections towards reorganizing it in any way that would make this less clear to readers. -- 42.113.73.231 ( talk) 02:52, 3 July 2015 (UTC)
This is a great article but does it includes all the services of Microsoft since 1985. Can anyone help 144.36.230.76 ( talk) 05:03, 3 July 2015 (UTC)
Recently @ Ocexyz: removed several categories under the guise of "Removed false categories in context of this article added for commercial or advertising purposes, removed advertising, removed falsification." I will here debunk this and will write why each individual category is completely relevant in the context of this article.
Category:Android (operating system) software these are services available for the Android plaform:
Category:IOS software These are services available for iPods, iPhones, and iPads:
Category:Nokia services These are services originally created by Nokia or corporation/company that was acquired by Nokia and eventually added to Microsoft Mobile Oy:
Category:Symbian software:
Category:MeeGo software:
And I'm sure that I've missed several applications, but still each category is here for a reason and none of it is either falsification nor advertisement, and if you think that this is unique to this article please go to Spotify which is also listed among Android, iOS, and Symbian software unlike Apple Microsoft does not make software exclusively for its own platform, and in fact Symbian and MeeGo are Microsoft platforms now so removing those categories is even more falsification on your own part.
Before you revert my reversion of your edit please read this and then look at the content, each and every category is referenced and described in the article itself, falsification would be adding desktop OS-related categories (as this article only describes mobile applications). -- Hoang the Hoangest ( talk) 08:56, 4 August 2015 (UTC)
Should Skype for Business and by extend Lync be mentioned in the Skype or in the Office section? I can see how Microsoft still advertises it as a part of Microsoft Office but it has the Skype branding thus it's thereby effectively a part of Skype. -- 58.187.165.40 ( talk) 00:44, 12 August 2015 (UTC)
The Microsoft Stream article should be developed. Isn't that a rebranding of Microsoft Office 365 Video? If so, both that article and this article's section on Microsoft Office 365 Video should be updated. MaynardClark ( talk) 19:43, 20 June 2017 (UTC)
