Hello
TenPoundHammer, before I begin the review, I had some concerns regarding the coverage of this article. The article jumps from her childhood details to her American Idol audition, which was in 2009, before talking about her career from 2011. The article should be covering what Guyton did from after she finished high school (I presume this to be around early 2000s) and before she moved to Los Angeles in 2011. —

Thank you for taking it up,
TenPoundHammer. My concern about the lack of coverage on her life and activities from early 2000s to 2011 still stands. Before I conduct a full review, I would suggest adding a couple of paragraphs on what she had been up to and if she was working towards a musical career during that period. —

The Most Comfortable Chair: I was not able to find much about her early years that isn't already in the article. This shouldn't be a sticking point, as it seems to be about on par with other GA-class country singer articles like
Tracy Lawrence or
Eddy Raven with regards to the subject's formative years. If @
ChrisTofu11961: is able to find something that I couldn't, then he's definitely welcome to add it. Ten Pound Hammer • (

TenPoundHammer: Hello! I agree that it was tough to find out a lot of information on her early life. I think that's because her career did not fully start until 2011, which is when she was in her mid 20's. However, I did find some information from a recent Los Angeles Times article that highlights that she was a background vocalist and appeared in the soundtrack of a film. So I added that. Besides that, it was a challenge. From writing musician's articles, I have found that there is limited information on their "early life" unless the artist has written a biography or autobiography. Guyton has neither of those. Honestly the real meat of this article is in the "career" section. Most readers will find that section more informative I believe.

I pinged The Most Comfortable Chair on their talk page, and they will not be returning to this review. Accordingly, I have returned the nomination to the pool of those awaiting a reviewer without any loss of seniority; the next review will take place on a different page from this one.
