These two quotes from Gauquelin are taken from two of his earliest books before he had conducted the majority of his statistical research into astrology over the following decades, and thus they skew the article towards a particular viewpoint that does not accurately represent Gauquelin's cumulative opinions of astrology, nor his actual findings. This is clearly not NPOV. I intend to edit this into something more resembling an accurate Wikipedia article, unless anyone has any objections. --

Hi, Chris. No objection, per se. I found the French Wiki article (I've been doing a lot for the translation) and I thought the English article ought to have this material. It's thoughtful and interesting, and takes something of a stand. As you will realize, the actual Gauquelin quotes are from an earlier editor--not me. I hoped at one point to incorporate the French material better, but all I have done is to replace earlier biographical material with the French material where I thought it was superior, or blend the two--and that was only in the earliest paragraphs. I made no attempt to incorporate most of the material on his writings to the previous material. Some of it was clearly not up to snuff and some, as you say, was skewed, but it's a big project, and although I had previously many of Gauquelin's books to this article and I have read him very extensively, it's still a big job to come up with one homogenized article. I would help, if you want it. Up to you. -Nadine
