No citation that he is anything other than an Irish citizen. Apart from one year in the UK - he has lived his entire life in Mayo. In any event, there is no need for a formal request if, as it appears, the request is to move this to the name alone, removing "MBE". This is squarely in the realm of the uncontroversial as including such honorifics is only done in very limited cases not relevant here. I would just move it but I don't think it's a good idea to move an article when it's currently at AfD.
