If anyone had read the quote in the source you would see that the father does not support the son - he is quoted as saying "We leave each other alone and don't hurt one another and we give each other our space. Tristan is his own man now...I would say he is a ratbag." I don't know if there are international differences in the definition of a "ratbag" but it really doesn't sound like support.
Beyond that, the entire drama about his son belongs in an article about his son, not hidden in Barker's article. That drama should be removed and placed in a separate article about Tristan. Otherwise it looks a lot like WP:COATRACK going on here. Toddst1 ( talk) 15:20, 6 April 2013 (UTC)
