Page needs more work

Lewis and Randall is one of the most referenced historical sources in thermodynamics; it is hard to find biographical data on Randall, hence I put in what I know so far. The page still needs more work. I ordered a copy of their 1923 book; when I get it, it may have some bio-data in it? Please help if you know about Randall. I have added a link to his University of California memorial notice, which contains several useful paragraphs about him. Dirac66 ( talk) 15:29, 1 March 2008 (UTC) reply

Changed date of book

Various sources give Randall's date of death as 1950 [1], and as far as I can see, there was only the one book called "Thermodynamics" -- the 1961 book appears to be a reprint of the 1923 book.
