This article is written in American English, which has its own spelling conventions (color, defense, traveled) and some terms that are used in it may be different or absent from other varieties of English. According to the relevant style guide, this should not be changed without broad consensus. |
Is this purely a North American phenomenon? The article as it stands doesn't even consider anywhere else, so deserves a {{ globalize}} tag - unless it really IS a specifically American thing, in which case that should be mentioned. Norfolk State got the clock shortened on October 16 2021, this would be the most recent example now. Thenextext ( talk) 02:41, 17 October 2021 (UTC)
The fourth quarter of the game between the University of Georgia and Samford University on September 10, 2022 was shortened to 12 minutes upon agreement by both head coaches. UGA was ahead 30-0 at the time. The final score was 33-0. JUAFS ( talk) 17:00, 24 September 2022 (UTC)
