This article needs information on the collection; I was unable to find anything useful online beyond the institution's own website and mentions of one painting being assessed a value of $2 million. Does anyone else have access to appropriate sources? Yngvadottir ( talk) 17:30, 4 February 2013 (UTC)
1. “...associated with the Remai Arts Centre...” is misleading. The new gallery is adjacent to the Remai Arts Centre, which houses the Persephone Theatre.
2. Remai Modern name and brand announcement March 2014
[1]
3. Projected opening date mid-2016
[2]
4. The source for the following is no longer available, and a date should be included with the statement: “The decision to close the Mendel Gallery and replace it, which superseded earlier plans for expansion, has been controversial, with a former mayor asking for a plebiscite in 2012.” Here is a different source for that info.
[3]
5. The project is supported by three levels of government: the City of Saskatoon, the Government of Saskatchewan, and the Government of Canada
[4]
6. Children’s Discovery Museum expected to open in 2017 [5]
