Were any medals awarded during the ten month reign of Edward VIII? Surely some Army rankers achieved the qualifying length of service and had the award applied for during that time? If none were actually awarded, this article should say so. It would warn collectors off medals purported to have been awarded during his reign as bogus forgeries.
