Just a heads up for everyone. There is no such term as "caretaker" mayor. Under the Local Government Code of the Philippines (RA ), if a mayor leaves office or is removed from his position by legal means, the vice mayor takes over as mayor, normally in an acting capacity. See
Chapter 2, Section 44 of the Local Government Code. Thanks. ---
