i added info about his drumming on "bat out of hell" but can't work out how to get the reference thing to work. Heres the link, can someone fix it up. http://www.jimsteinman.com/bat1lyr.htm</ref> —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 211.27.220.248 ( talk) 08:33, 8 January 2007 (UTC).
Speaking of footnotes, is there a source for his YU attendance? -- 64.193.79.137 ( talk) 19:15, 5 January 2009 (UTC)
Let us strive to a have a complete and informational bio with details like early childhood, schooling, information about his parents, any information about his siblings, information about his spouse and kids etc. Optional (for American bios) are information about childhood schools etc. Adding such information makes for a complete picture of a human being. Currently this bio reads like a snapshot of his professional life from E-Street to Conan. [13:28, February 6, 2007 72.64.122.196]
I remember a quote from a music magazine, wasnt Q, could have been MOJO, just when the E Street band and Springsteen started touring again, I think it describes his style perfectly...
"Looks like a accountant, drums like a bricky" [00:24, June 28, 2007 81.106.141.15 ]
Why isn't his work with fire inc credited? [19:15, August 5, 2008 84.91.54.77]
sorry - i never know where to inform everyone of changes I make. Here seems as good a place as any. In the 'family' section, the text 'his birthday is april 13' was included because it was part of his bio on his personal website. i deleted it because not only did it have nothing to do with his family or his love for the nj devils, but it is also listen in the header by his name. i also added the citation from his personal website. that is all. if i didn't need to inform anyone of this change, go ahead and delete this section from the discussion page. I've reorganized this article to be chronological. As it was, the narrative kept jumping back and forth and sideways, making it difficult to understand the flow and ups and downs of Max's career. This way, it'll be easier to understand and the biography will make more sense. Wasted Time R ( talk) 01:12, 6 June 2009 (UTC)
Nice work, making this article GA! As far as my saying it could be a shoo in at FA, I cannot easily think of why it should not go straight to WP:FAC. However, you will always be welcome to take it to a peer review first. Love that shot of the back of the band starting their set at Hartford. :D

Calling him secomd bamamma? Somehow, the use of that term regarding Weinberg (or anyone else) seems a bit silly in an encyclopedia. Can't that phrasing be removed? -- Leahtwosaints ( talk) 18:13, 4 May 2010 (UTC)
User:24.15.55.166 has been adamantly changing the birth name "Max Sachel Weinberg" to "Max Weinberg" beginning with this edit from several weeks ago. These changes haven't come with any edit summary and have all been reverted by various editors, including me. The most recent one comes with this in-text rationale: "***This is not Max's birthname. Some moron out there thinks it is funny to change his name to include "Maxwell" and "Sachel", even though his borth name is MAX WEINBERG."
Which brings up the question, what is Weinberg's birth name? I looked at this when these edits started coming in. Most hits on the "Maxwell Sachel" are obvious Wikipedia echoes. There are a few, such as this Empire Rehearsal Studios bio, that look like they are not based on the WP article. The bio on his website is unhelpful. So I left it in.
But now, I've gone back and located how this got into the article. The "Maxwell Sachel" was added by this edit on April 6, 2008 by User:69.179.52.228, whose only other edit under that IP was this obvious vandalism to the George Clooney article. So now I think it should go. I don't know what Weinberg's full birth name is – chances are that he was given a middle name of some sort – but I don't think there's sufficient evidence for this one. [different user, can't figure this one out so tagging along on someone else's post:] this is really poorly written. it also doesn't seem to mention that he was a studio musician for a long time and was actually the drummer for the partridge family! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.96.118.48 ( talk) 04:53, 29 November 2011 (UTC)
