Bus competition

The article reads "The GWR introduced buses to the Dyfi valley, many operated by its subsidiary the Corris Railway. These competed with the passenger services of the railway, leading to the end of passenger services from 1 January 1931." The Corris Railway was only taken over by the GWR in 1930, so any competing bus services that it ran before that were under its own auspices, not the GWR.
