The article doesn't let clear if he ever joined the Lutheran Church? Is this proved? The fact that he showed sympathy thowards Lutheranism at the end of his life doesn't prove it definetely. 82.154.83.224 ( talk) 13:47, 4 December 2009 (UTC)
There isn't really recorded evidence if he ever became officially a Lutheran. At least, nominally, he was a Roman Catholic for most of his life. Luchas Cranach, for example, was a staunch Lutheran. 85.243.68.192 ( talk) 16:26, 13 December 2009 (UTC)
