The result of the proposal was PAGE MOVED per discussion below. I merged the earlier history so the full authorship history is now visible in one place. - GTBacchus( talk) 03:39, 25 January 2008 (UTC)
Matilda (character) → Matilda Wormwood — It is best to avoid using parenthesis in the title when possible and in this case the use of parenthesis is not needed. All fictional characters on Wikipedia use the first name & last name title, when the last name is known. The Matilda franchise also has the Wormwood family as supporting characters, so it's not like her last name isn't widely known. Its tough to justify having a Wikipedia page for this character when she isnt a mascot of any real world social movements and only appears in 1 children's book that was adapted into 2 movies and 1 musical. Neither film nor the musical was a prequel, sequel or spinoff of the book, meaning there is only one story, total, in which she appears.
Meanwhile, the 2001 Washington Bridge Bomb Plot, the 2001 Mexico City Congressional Attack, and Sonichu are not notable enough to have articles. 2600:1012:B1C2:8FE6:20B8:BBCB:6C86:A93E ( talk) 21:33, 14 June 2022 (UTC)
