There was a big spending spree several years ago to upgrade 24 to Interstate standards. They were attempting to have it designated part of 93. This involved new guardrails, new signage, and other little "fancy" things that the highway didn't really need.
I'm not disputing it doesn't meet the standards, since I don't really know much about roadway standards. What is it still missing, though? Sahasrahla 18:41, Jun 4, 2005 (UTC)
My guess is that MassDOT will probably call the section from I-95 to I-93 I-93 Spur. -- Deweypants ( talk) 13:28, 16 May 2014 (UTC)
I'm just curious - why have Rhode Island exits been added to this article? Isn't there a separate article for RI 24? Sahasrahla ( talk) 04:56, 14 May 2010 (UTC)
