To add to this article: Ramsey performed with Lil Nas X on the 2020 Grammy Awards, on January 26, 2020. 76.189.141.37 ( talk) 03:04, 27 January 2020 (UTC)
He was born on November 16 2006 according to all online sources, but whenever I try to change it it always gets undone. He is 14 years old.
Why don't gossip sites count for something as simple as a birthday? Isn't it worse to have a Wikipedia article with misinformation than it is to use information from the hundreds of sites with the correct age and birthday? MapSignificant ( talk) — Preceding undated comment added 17:48, 29 December 2020 (UTC)
Alright, I cited two sources just to make sure everything's covered: one that gives his exact birthday, and one that says he was 11 when he became famous. -- MapSignificant ( talk) 01:04, 30 December 2020 (UTC)
Denniss has removed many different sources I had cited for this Wikipedia page. Those sources are Mason’s concert setlists from Setlist.fm or thefamouspeople.com
They include tours Mason’s been on, and just basic info on his birthdate and birthplace.
Denniss has removed these sources calling them invalid and has been basing off all info on this Wikipedia article from April 2018. He has also said that Mason was 10 when he got famous, yet he was really eleven at the time.
Many people have tried to explain this to Denniss by also adding different sources, and because the sources are not from two years ago, they are therefore for some reason, invalid. Da.simm ( talk) 21:37, 2 May 2020 (UTC)
Gandydancer, I guess you're right. And at least we do know his real birthday so it doesn't have to turn into an editing war. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Da.simm ( talk • contribs) 17:50, 3 May 2020 (UTC)
Denniss, I mean come on dude. Just go onto Google and type in Mason Ramsey age and it will tell you that he is thirteen and was born on November 16, 2006. There's no denying it after you look it up. Da.simm ( talk) 08:28, 6 May 2020 (UTC)
C.Fred, Ok good God people. I can't believe you think that Youtube, or Google, or even Mason's website are unreliable sources. Hey did you know that a lot of people consider Wikipedia a pretty unreliable source? Well maybe that's because people like you think that the entire internet is untrue and nobody is reliable. I am so done trying to prove my point because it's already been made perfectly clear that there ARE sources that ARE reliable! But apparently you and Denniss think differently and do wrongly so. Da.simm ( talk) 15:11 19 May 2020 (UTC)
Denniss,
masonramseyofficial
C.Fred, April 5, 2018 correct?? And hey! Thanks for getting into my conversation. We weren't even originally talking about Time anyway. Da.simm ( talk) 18:45 22 May 2020 (UTC)
C.Fred, Okay. Listen up. I am ending this before this turns into an editing war, because I'm not even frustrated anymore with Denniss, I'm frustrated with you. I know the correct birth date and this has been blown COMPLETELY out of proportion. Maybe not today, but someday, you will find out that you and Denniss are wrong. Have a good day annoying somebody else's innocent article. Da.simm ( talk) 19:48 22 May 2020 (UTC)
The article says:
In the categories it says:
Consistently, despite the obvious facts, the wrongly written date of birth should still be a category
If someone arbitrarily claims something on the basis of one article, it does not belong in Wikipedia, as this would be original research, which Wikipedia prohibits. No matter how things stand, one must stick to the sources. All sources, however, have a date that I have given and which is confirmed in many sources. Anyone who stubbornly insists on his one-sided claim should add: "Mason Ramsey" ‘’’(born unknown)’’’ to the beginning of the article.
This would all be O.K., if sources didn't confirm otherwise. So I'm protesting that someone deleted my edit and reverted to the old state, which contradicts most sources. Many peoples translate from the English Wikipedia, so it is all the more important that it does not contain unverified claims. Let me name only two sources out of fifty: Celebrity Glorious and Wealthy Persons. Sapienti sat. [2] [3] -- Stebunik ( talk) 00:31, 19 October 2022 (UTC)
