Smoot sits on the advisory board of the West Ridge Academy as shown here. Per the WP article on Board of directors and any book regarding corporate governance, an advisory board is different than the board of directors. An advisory board cannot vote on corporate issues . . . as the name implies, it advises. Smoot is in an advisory role, not a management role. Alanraywiki ( talk) 18:19, 9 September 2009 (UTC)
