Seen x from y

The article says he travels to see “solar eclipses (seen 5 from 7)”; what does that parenthetical part mean? I assume it’s some way of telling how many eclipses he has seen, but what are the two numbers? And is it even noteworthy to mention how many he’s seen? -- Rob Kennedy 19:46, 10 September 2006 (UTC) reply

Means he's travelled to see 7, but he's only seen 5 of them due to weather conditions. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Synner2507 ( talkcontribs) 14:47, 20 December 2007 (UTC) reply
