I can list a host of policies and guidelines that cover
WP:BLP's that are lacking sources. The criteria of
verifiability (a policy), especially a BLP, mandates it does not warrant a stand alone article when this is not evident. The state of an article does not determine notability, and the subject now appears to be deceased, but when notability is contested
the burden of proof is on any editor wishing inclusion.
