"Method"

Is there any chance an expansion on the method can be given? Right now properties of the model are given but no methodology is described that indicates how a conservative or liberal perspective might be labeled. As a whole, this page isn't much more useful than knowing how various judges relate to each other vaguely on a graph, and hoping the point assessment is correct.
