It was at times alleged that Father Moran had absolutely no license at all for Nepal - not true! I have myself held the license in my hand, a folded sheet of about 30 x 40 centimeters. The license regulations had been typewritten on this folded sheet, stating specifications for all frequencies. It also carried service stamps from the Nepalese telecommunications authority. Father Moran visited me 3 times in Tubingen, southern Germany, and he wanted to apply for a German temporary license. So I sent a letter to the German authorities with a copy of his license.
