Personal Life
It is well known that Mark Hughes also supported Chelsea as well as his hometown club. Even the official Manchester United website acknowledges it. 'In June 1995, Hughes signed for boyhood favourites Chelsea, but that was by no means the end of his glory days. He won a fourth FA Cup winners medal and a second European Cup Winners Cup gong with the Blues, and extended his playing career with Southampton, Everton and later Blackburn, where he picked up the last medal of his playing career - another League Cup - before hanging up his boots at the age of 38.' https://www.manutd.com/en/players-and-staff/detail/mark-hughes Have edited to reflect this. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bovis Messroom ( talk • contribs) 18:17, 10 November 2018 (UTC)
Did he play for the Wales Under-21 national team? I probably saw once a (printed) source that he appeared in this team in five matches and included in my stats ( [3] https://www.rsssf.org/players/dbl-walesdata.html#h) but maybe this was an error from the pre internet era where foreign information (consuming mostly German media in the starting phase of collecting football stats)⁉️ Thanks in advance for any additional research in this matter.
