Some of the facts in this article are not consistent with other observations. For instance "It is also the fifth largest (by volume) tree in the world with a circumference of 89 feet (27 m) " is not consistent with the article on Giant Sequoias which lists the top 10 which are all bigger.
Also, the fact that it fell down in 1969 is misleading at best because i just took the image on the right in 2005 (note the sign says grizzly giant), and it's either back up, or never fell... i don't know too much about the history.
I was just wondering what the intent is of bolding the phrase "Grizzly Giant" and the phrase "Mariposa Grove Museum" in the lead. Thanks. - Nik-renshaw ( talk) 23:00, 28 November 2007 (UTC)
