I have removed the references in this article to Marieme Lo (academic), a Senegalese-Canadian academic born in 1966, and created a separate article for the academic. I am pretty sure that the academic and the basketball player are two different people. The basketball player was born in 1972, while the academic was born in 1966 according to the library catalog entry for her PhD dissertation. The basketball player attended Central State University, while the academic attended several different institutions including one in Paris for her undergraduate degree.
