"Its name in Finnish — as sometimes given on maps and in other Finnish-language documents — is Maarianhamina." This sentence should be removed. The population of Åland and Mariehamn don't wanna risk that somebody might believe it is an official name. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.204.59.72 ( talk) 21:30, 30 July 2005 (UTC)
"Mariehamn is unilingually Swedish-speaking and around 89.5% of the inhabitants speak it as their native language."
How can the place be defined unilingual when only 9/10 speak the majority language natively? Either the non-Swede's have stopped speaking their mother tongues, or there is something funny going on with the definition of unilingual. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.220.141.180 ( talk) 18:03, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
The building with the caption "St.George's Church" seems to be leaning at an odd angle. Admittedly, I am not interested in the denomination involved. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.112.11.135 ( talk) 10:52, 18 April 2014 (UTC)
