We presently include sources discussing the first 3-day honeymoon skiing in Vancouver March 5-8, but what about the 10-day second honeymoon they took in the Carribean (Barbados and Tobago) during spring break? April 8 they were reported in Bridgetown and April 12 were reported taking a plane from Bridgetown to a nearby island. April 14-16 they were in Tobago, April 19 returned to Canada.
BRIDGETOWN, Barbados (UPI) - Prime Minister Trudeau and his wife left here Monday by chartered plane on a quick sidestrip to an unidentified nearby island. They arrived here Thursday on a brief "second honey-moon," and have reportedly been staying at a private residence on the island's posh west coast.
PORT-OF-SPAIN, Trinidad (Reuter) - Prime Minister Trudeau lunched privately Thursday with Trinidad and Tobago's prime minister, Dr. Eric Williams. Trudeau flew in from Tobago, the sister island of trinidad, where he has been holidaying with his wife since Tuesday. Shortly after his luncheon engagement, Trudeau took a return plane to Tobago to rejoin his wife, Margaret. The Canadian high commision said it was in not in a position to say when the prime minister and his wife would leave Tobago. "We know he has to be back in Ottawa on April 18," a commission spokesman said. The Trudeaus already have visited Barbados and spent a day swimming off Bequia, a tiny island in the Grenadines, and nearby islets when they visited St. Vincent Monday.
I think this would be an interesting addition so I'll include it. ScratchMarshall ( talk) 20:40, 21 February 2018 (UTC)
