A fact from María Pérez (Spanish footballer) appeared on Wikipedia's
Main Page in the Did you know column on 2 July 2023 (
check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
Did you know... that María Pérez was signed to
FC Barcelona Femení's B team in 2020 but started for the first team by the end of the season?
The following is an archived discussion of the DYK nomination of the article below. Please do not modify this page. Subsequent comments should be made on the appropriate discussion page (such as
this nomination's talk page,
the article's talk page or
Wikipedia talk:Did you know), unless there is consensus to re-open the discussion at this page. No further edits should be made to this page.

Cited: - I'm aware ALT0 will require a couple of these at once, but please add citations to the hooks on this nom. Other than that, everything looks fine to me.
Interesting: - I haven't heard of the
double, please wikilink it in ALT2.
@
Miraclepine: First, hooks don't need citing at a nom page. You can look through my noms and see that I generally avoid adding sources to make sure my reviewers go through the source check properly. And since you acknowledge the hook facts are well-cited in the article, please correct your assessment of that. Second, the sources don't define who considered it surprising, presumably "the general public"; adding an "according to" wouldn't work as the source authors themselves aren't the ones, though I also question if it is something POV enough to fall under the need. Not that this fact is relevant to the hooks, so? Third, treble is already linked, we're not going to overdo it. I am very breezy about DYK, but your comments aren't reasonable.

Kingsif: I've provided the assessment on the hooks:
For ALT0: Barcelona's three Liga F titles and the 2021-2022 continental treble are not directly supported by the inline citations in the article required by
WP:DYKCRIT 3a; nor is the prose statement on her 2021 debut cap with Barcelona Femení.
For ALT1: supported by
somsantfost.cat, which refers to Barcelona Femení B as "the FC Barcelona subsidiary, which plays in the Spanish Second Division"/"filial del FC Barcelona, que milita a la Segona Divisió espanyola" (and given that source is from July 2020, note that
2019–20 Segunda División Pro (women) ended in May 2020) and by
Soccerway, which registers one cap for Barcelona Femeni for 2020–21.
Since you addressed the other two issues I brought up, all that's needed for the hooks to be approved are the requested inline refs on the article.

Kingsif: Thanks for the sources. But the
2022–23 Liga F title isn't in the Soccerway ref, likely due to the season not ending until 21 May.

Miraclepine, I'm in the middle of some editing right now but will get on adding that in-line. There is a source (at the FC Barcelona B article I think?) mentioning that the league for both women's B and first team were won on the same day, that could probably be interesting to mention at Pérez's article, too.
Kingsif (

@
Kingsif: The
FC Barcelona (women) B article has
this Mundo Deportivo source, which says "El título de Liga conquistado por el primer equipo femenino de fútbol del FC Barcelona"/"The Liga [F] title won by the first women's soccer team of FC Barcelona"; I think this is okay.

Miraclepine: Yep, I've added that now (in the career prose; honours mentioned and sourced in body text don't need duplication in lists IIRC).

I've updated the first hook, and struck alt2 (which would get too complicated to be hooky if updated), after another trophy. Cited in article.
