Not sure

As far as I'm aware masard roofs don't have to be hipped - they can have (dutch) gable ends - what's important is that the pitch of the roof changes as it approaches the ridge. I'll amend this if there's no objections here. -- Mcginnly | Natter 14:27, 1 November 2006 (UTC) reply
