I cannot understand the relation of this external link " http://www.pariharam.com For Temples around Mahabalipuram" in the Mahabalipuram page. If it is really related, please post your comments before adding it in the page.-- bkris 17:29, 23 January 2006 (UTC)
Mamallapuram is the correct name and not Mahabalipuram. In http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mamallapuram. Nowadays only it is called Mahabalipuram. If you have any doubt ask any tamil expert.
Does anyone know if Mahabalipuram was known about Before the tsunami? The article says it was swallowed by the sea a few hundred years ago....wouldn't there be some kind of record in either Indian History or maybe even from Colonial History depending on when it vanished....
Hello, I've put up a 403MiB HD clip I shot using an HDR-HC1 of Mahabalipuram at this link. I'd like to have it pointed to from the article page. Will do so if no one responds to this entry in a couple of days. ( Veliath 15:48, 19 April 2007 (UTC))
I've gone aheaded and edited in the link. ( Veliath 04:28, 23 April 2007 (UTC))
Underwater remains of temples off the coast of Mahabalipuram have been researched by Graham Hancock and his team of marine archaeologists who puts an approximate period of construction of the temples at 7,000 years back or more. Would the Archaeological Survey of India want to take notice of the same? 193.220.87.134 09:24, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
Is it good to have a photo with copyright info on it published in wiki? If I am not wrong, please replace the main photo or trim off the copyright information. ponnambalamwell known as santhosh janardhanan | talk me 11:38, 4 November 2008 (UTC)
The name of Mahabalipuram has been changed to Mamallapuram Officially... So it is not proper to mention it as Mahabalipuram —Preceding unsigned comment added by Balajijagadesh ( talk • contribs) 05:05, 15 September 2010 (UTC)
