Ms Sarah Welch, I guess you are indulging in OR by claiming the statue to be of Svetambara affiliation. This statue has no such mention, please share a source where you see this statue been discribed as so. Further, this is a nude statue, and neither of Jain sects talk about nude Ascetism for female. So how can it be of Svetambara origin? In addition to that, Svetambara iconography is not evident on the statue. No decoration, no glass eyes, no throne, no clothes.
