The Carthage article refers ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carthage#Second_Sicilian_War) to a Mago Barca who undertook a journey of exploration through the Sahara desert. Is this the same person or an earlier relative? The context in the Carthage article seems to suggest he lived in the 7th-5th century BC. Dysmorodrepanis 13:56, 21 September 2005 (UTC)

It seems improbable that Mago could have died in 203 BC and also have left Italy with his army in 202 BC. I don't know which is right, only that it seems impossible for both to be right. Tupelo the typo fixer ( talk) 13:31, 15 April 2020 (UTC)
