When I talk about the Women in Red project I frequently get asked whether we will ever have 50% women on Wikipedia. The sad thing is that women frequently didnt make it into written history. The example I normally give is that "sadly nearly all the generals at Waterloo were blokes" ... so they will have more articles. When I'm saying that I have always had the nagging thought ....
