Shouldn't the lighthouse map be Maine, because the map used puts it nearly off the map. — JJ Be rs 21:36, 22 April 2017 (UTC)

The lead says, "Since both Canada and the United States claim sovereignty, anyone born there can claim dual citizenship." The claim is dubious and is from an opinion piece hence not a reliable source. I certainly wouldn't want anyone to rely on the claim and will remove it. I could not find any reliable sources on the matter, which would be necessary to put back in.
Canadian law only provides birthright citizenship to the children of citizens or permanent residents. While U.S. law provides citizenship to children born in the country, they must also be completely subject to U.S. jurisdiction at birth.
