Macestos Bridge →
Macestus Bridge – Misnomer. The article has been moved in 2011 from Makestos Bridge, the Greek form, to Macestos Bridge in
an attempt to emend it from Greek to Latin. However, Macestos is not the correct Latin word for the river, which is Macestus. Cf.
Brill: Macestus, Mecestus.
