This stub clearly needs sorting out, or deleting. There is absolutely no indication of which MacDuff this is. He is described as Macduff of Fife, but this is ambiguous, almost meaningless. He is certainly NOT Macduff, Earl of Fife, who was in his minority at the time of this Macduff. He seems to have been the uncle of Duncan, tenth Earl of Fife and granduncle of Duncan, the eleventh Earl of Fife (see
Donnchadh IV, Earl of Fife) who, at the time was for many years under the guardianship of William Fraser, bishop of St. Andrews. As it stands, this article does seem useless.--
