I agree; see also WP:OFFICIALNAMES. The former official name was actually "Union Bank of California, N.A." so only the state was removed, the "N.A." not added. I think the state is probably still a better disambiguator from other Union Banks for now. In the meantime "Union Bank, N.A." should redirect here, so I'll do that unless there's any objection.
