Leo I (or the M96 group) is a physical group of galaxies in the constellation Leo consisting of Spiral Galaxy M95, Spiral Galaxy M96, Elliptical Galaxy M105, and a number of fainter galaxies. {{stub}}

I've noticed poor little Category:Leo cluster sitting empty and alone, and I'm wondering if the "Leo I group" is the same as the "Leo cluster". If so this category can be eliminated as redundant, anyone know? Bryan 19:43, 6 November 2005 (UTC)
I think we should make this a non-stub article. If we shall do this we will have one less stub. There will be more users and people using this encyclopedia. - User:General Eisenhower
What is the reason for deletion? Thanks in advance for an explanation. Harr o 5 22:30, 19 March 2006 (UTC)
I'm not eather sure whether the Leo I group is a galaxy group with subgroups. Or if it's a galaxy cluster cloud with two galaxy groups. If anyone has any info on this, talk. — Hurricane Devon ( Talk ) 01:43, 20 March 2006 (UTC)

Leo I group of galaxies → M96 Group — A Google search shows that "M96 Group" is used more often than "Leo I Group". Also, scientific papers on the ADS Abstract Service list this object's name more frequently as "M96 Group", and the NASA/IPAC Extragalactic Database lists this under the name "Messier 96 Group", with "Leo I Group" given as an alternate name.
