This page is not unambiguously promotional, because several listed citations support content.-- AllTimeMusic ( talk) 03:36, 24 January 2016 (UTC)
This page shouldn't be deleted since deletion is not a replacement for clean-up. There is only a small bit of text that has a promotional tone, and it has been tagged appropiately. Dat Guy Talk Contribs 13:45, 24 January 2016 (UTC)
The majority of this page seems to have been written by Lyn Stanley; user Jazz40s even IDs in WikiProject Jazz/Participants as "Independent Jazz Stylist Vocalist and International Recording Artist with gross physical product sales over $200,000 in 2017 with over six successful releases since 2013 and 40,000 albums sold worldwide." Many of the sources cited are not reliable, often they don't actually relate to what's listed, & there are real questions of relevance & due weight. At the very least, those visiting this page should have a heads up that it isn't airtight, so I'm adding the sources template. Knifegames ( talk) 22:33, 4 July 2021 (UTC)
Note: I removed my own template addition after extensive cuts/edits (in part detailed below). // Knifegames ( talk) 12:24, 15 July 2021 (UTC)
It appears that in the past, cuts have been met with a massive addition of new content, so I'm going to list some things & provide explanations for the removals. If I've removed something because it isn't sourced, please only reintroduce it to the article if you can provide a reliable source (avoid sites that explicitly ID as music promotion / ad sales / publicity sites, e.g. Crossover Media). For the record, an article isn't "better" simply because it's longer!
This should give a sense of why things are being cut, so please don't just add piles more; Wikipedia is not for marketing! // Knifegames ( talk) 10:07, 5 July 2021 (UTC)
