POV stuff

I removed the conclusion paragraph of the header for this game, because it contained POV (that the game stands out, and that it's like playing a disney movie). I also played around with the sentence with the epilogue so there's no "Best of all" or "Another improvement". Honestly, I'm not quite sure if one would consider the epilogue 'optional', since you really don't learn the conclusion to the game (no matter how unshocking it is) without it, and beating Zophar and winning the 'main game' is as optional as beating the epilogue. But I left that part in there.

Anyway, there is some more stuff in the heading with POV but I decided not to involve myself too much (too lazy). I just posted this because I forgot to leave a 'reason for edit' when I did so.-- Mr Bucket 07:58, 8 October 2006 (UTC) reply

Hmm, I tried to pick up where you left off with the heading (simply cutting down on the sentences involving stuff like the soundtrack and, yes, the epilogue), but I feel that perhaps it might have been better executed by another. Oh well, at least there's always someone else to clean up....

Mystere

Does anyone else think it's worth mentioning that mystere might be a reference/joke on Syrius from Fire Emblem: Monshou no Nazo?-- Mr Bucket 00:22, 17 October 2007 (UTC) reply

Merge to the game it's based on?

I believe this should be done, because by the article's own admission, it follows the original game closely. - A Link to the Past (talk) 04:06, 27 August 2008 (UTC) reply

True, the leap from Lunar 2 to Lunar 2 Complete wasn't as substantial as the one from Silver Star to SSSC, but I think there's still enough info to warrant having it as a separate article. Outlining the story and gameplay changes in this one would bloat the EB article too much, and there's a good amount of English development info on Complete to pull from as well. I'll try and build this one up in the next day or so like I did with SSSC and see if anything can be done without repeating too much info, but if I hit a wall I'll consider the merge option. Okay, I've found enough references citing altered material in this version to most likely support keeping it as separate, and I am working on improving it off-site to see if it can stand on its own like the SSSC article. If that article is any indication, this game will almost certainly be allow to stay as well, and could easily get to GA on its own. Nall ( talk) 16:46, 29 August 2008 (UTC) reply

Spoiler Warning

I recently played Lunar Silver Star Harmony and since there is no word of a psp remake of Lunar 2 I decided to play this version instead of waiting. It may be possible that many new people are playing the Lunar series due to the PSP Lunar 1 remake that just came out. Even though its an old game there is quite a few spoilers in this article for anyone new to the series and wanting to check out this game of Lunar 2. Would it improve the article to add a spoiler warning to it before the plot details? DavidR2010 ( talk) 23:19, 3 November 2010 (UTC)DavidR2010 DavidR2010 ( talk) 23:19, 3 November 2010 (UTC) reply

Should I request comment on this or has there been some discussion else where about placing Spoiler warnings on game article pages that determined it was unnecessary? I just think quite a few people will be discovering this game now that the remake of the first game is out. This article might possibly ruin the experience of this game for those new players. Sales information

I noticed statements in the article that Working Designs allegedly lost money on this game. My understanding from comments made by the company at the time was that this game was in fact a financial success, and is in fact their second best selling title ever behind the Playstation release of Lunar: The Silver Star Story complete. While it didn't sell as well as the original, "sales flunk" probably is not appropriate for describing a game that was from all reputable sources quite financially successful, despite being released late in the lifespan of the system. VGChartz has it listed as selling just under 200,000 copies in North America. [1]
