Oppose. While Alan is best known as a member of Low, he is also notable for other reasons. I do agree that the duplication between the two articles should be fixed. I'm confused by the "formal request" part of your comment: the request does not appear anywhere on
WP:PAM. -

Support per proposer. Doesn't seem like there's much that isn't covered (sometimes verbatim) already at the Low article apart from mentioning 1 or 2 of his other projects & what he tunes to his guitar to..
